At Mountaintop Carpet Cleaning, we know that your pets are family, but their accidents don’t have to be a permanent part of your home.
As a professional owner-operator, I use a specialized multi stage restoration process to break down odors at the molecular level and restore your home’s hygiene.
The Science of the Smell
Pet urine contains uric acid crystals that are insoluble and bond to carpet fibers. Household sprays and rental machines often just "reactivate" these crystals, making the smell worse. To truly remove the odor, you need three things: Specialized Products, Mechanical Agitation, and High-Heat Extraction.
Our Professional Pet Restoration Process
- Blacklight Inspection: We start by using high-intensity UV lighting to locate "hidden" accidents that aren't visible to the naked eye. This ensures we treat every affected area, not just the obvious spots.
- Enzymatic Pre-Treatment: We apply professional-grade enzymatic cleaners that "eat" the organic proteins and uric acid crystals. This step is critical—it breaks down the stain so it can actually be lifted out.
- Mechanical CRB Agitation: Using our Counter-Rotating Brush (CRB) machine, we agitate the enzymes deep into the carpet pile and backing. This ensures the treatment reaches the root of the problem while simultaneously pulling out trapped pet hair that vacuums leave behind.
- Mytee Extraction: Our Mytee 1003DX produces the extreme heat necessary to liquefy crystallized salts and sanitize the area. With its dual 3-stage vacuums, we extract the contaminants and the moisture completely, preventing the "wicking" (stains returning) that is common with DIY methods.
- Odor Neutralization: We finish with a molecular odor neutralizer that leaves your home smelling fresh, not like "perfumed ammonia."
